The placement experience with SIG was really outstanding. Being a member of the placement committee, I could closely work with the placement incharge and could understand more about the functions. I am happy that I could contribute a little in bringing companies to the college this year. The placement incharge also was really helpful in understanding the interest of students and tried to bring companies of student's choice. Overall experience being with the placement committee was really good. And I am really happy about the companies that came into the college and the level of exposure the placement department gave us through this process.

I have done my full course in online mode..it was difficult to complete but we enjoyed and the whole process was very smooth. All the faculties are very helpful and cooperative otherwise it wil be very difficult to complete full course online. placement cell was good.. 95 % students from m.sc geoinformatics are placed in different different prestigious company

I have completed the M.Sc. Geoinformatics program from Symbiosis Institute of Geoinformatics and I can certainly say that it was the most important milestone in shaping my career in Geoinformatics field. Now I have a richer understanding of overall geoinformatics as I have gained both skills and confidence to thoughtfully use a variety of quantitative approach in my work.

It was a wonderful experience with SIG. Faculties are super talented and supportive. Our placement in charge is one of the best that any institution can dream about. Overall it is a great learning and tremendous experience @ SIG. Thank you for having me SIG.

Symbiosis Institute of Geoinformatics played an important role during my Masters in Data Science and Spatial Analytics. I had no prior knowledge regarding data analytics and was completely new to this emerging field during the time of admission. In the past two years I learned a lot of new and interesting subjects and techniques from the experienced teaching faculty. All the professors were taking a lot of effort to clear the smallest and silly doubts that we had. I really enjoyed the lectures conducted by Atul Kahate Sir. He would always be my inspiration. I was very much impressed by their teaching style and their approach of explaining the topic in depth from each and every possible angle. Each and every student should have a professor like him during their learning phase. Because of the efforts taken by the placement cell of SIG under the guidance and supervision of Bhakati Madam, I was selected as a GIS Analyst at a reputed organisation. The placement cell takes a lot of efforts to ensure that each and every student of SIG gets placed in a reputed organisation. I really enjoyed my time of working in the placement cell under the guidance of Bhakati Madam. We constantly made use of her experience and advices while approaching any organisation for campus placements and the results that we received were excellent.

Though the course was held online, the faculty ensured that we grasped the knowledge necessary to enter the geospatial industry. We learnt the basics of python, javascript, database management, and got hands on training for ArcGIS pro - which was very beneficial. The placement process was also smooth. I am grateful to SIG for the opportunities it has provided.
